PEANUT BUTTER MARSHMALLOW SQUARES

This has long been a favorite for our family's festive gatherings.  The simplest of recipes to make and the most asked for in our household.  Enjoy!

1/2 cup butter or margarine
1 cup of smooth or crunchy peanut butter
1 package of butterscotch chipits
Melt these three ingredients over low heat.  Set to the side to cool.

Add one package of colored or white mini marshmallows.  Usually if I have two packages of marshmallows on hand I will add a bit of the second package just so that there is not as much "goo" on the bottom of the cut pieces.  Some people like a lot of "goo", others not so much .... depends on your sweetness taste buds.

Pour the mixture into an 8"x8" pan sprayed lightly with Pam.  Set in the fridge or freezer for an hour or so and then cut into small, or big, squares.  Eat, refrigerate or freeze - anything goes with these!  Yummy!

'til next time
